Accessibility Statement
Welcome, this is the accessibility statement of John Rux-Burton’s site
This accessibility statement concerns the website www.johnruxburton.co.uk and was last updated on 10/10/2025.
This website is run by John Rux-Burton. We want as many people as possible to be able to use this website. For example, that means you should be able to:
change colours, contrast levels and fonts using browser or device settings
zoom in up to 400% without the text spilling off the screen
navigate most of the website using a keyboard or speech recognition software
listen to most of the website using a screen reader (including the most recent versions of JAWS, NVDA and VoiceOver)
We last tested this site on 10/10/2025 using keyboard, screen reader, and zoom checks. We aim for WCAG 2.2 AA compliance and welcome feedback.
We’ve also made the website text as simple as possible to understand. The ideas that are addressed in the website are sometimes unfamiliar and the vocabulary not in daily use. Some of the topics are specialist to philosophy and the arts. It’s very important no one feels excluded from such topics. Both can have a tendency to find opaqueness part of the brand. We do not believe that is right. We have tried to address with explanation without disrupting flow. If you find anything obscure, you can email. We will be happy to explain in a format that works for you.
To assist, in the ideas section you will find AI generated audio podcasts, guides and essays, which many find helpful.
Did you notice an accessibility issue on the site?
